What is needed to sign with an ID card?
A card reader, the card’s PIN and the UniDocs signing service installed on the computer — it is free and downloads straight from the system. The signing happens on your own machine; the card and the PIN are never sent to the server.
Does an electronic signature have legal force?
A qualified electronic signature made with an electronic ID card has, under Georgian law, the same force as a handwritten one. Which type of signature a particular document needs is a question for your lawyer.
Can a counterparty sign without registering?
Yes. They receive a link by email, read the document and sign it there, or return it with a comment — with no account to create.
